KairOS Autonomous Drone Platform
KairOS is an autonomous drone platform in concept and development: browser Mission Control, onboard Drone Agent, Ground Agent, mission planning, telemetry, video and extensible APIs. This website describes the intended architecture and product contracts; it does not announce released flight-control software.
What are the platform components?
| Component | Intended role |
|---|---|
| Mission Control | A browser ground control station for configuration, telemetry, video, mission planning and fleet operations. |
| Drone Agent | A Rust-first onboard core on a Linux single-board computer, with MAVLink routing, video, local APIs and AI/vision extensions. |
| Ground Agent | A ground-side agent profile for receiving radio links and delivering telemetry and video to an operator’s laptop, phone or field display. |
Is KairOS only for sport?
No. KairOS is designed as a universal platform for inspection, mapping, agriculture, monitoring, training and other real-economy applications. Sport is one use case.
How does KairOS relate to Teleportation Droid Sport?
KairOS is the planned central software core for the Teleportation Droid discipline (ТПД) within the “Беспилотный спорт” ecosystem. It connects operator interfaces, agents, missions, telemetry and video. Read the sport website for detailed information in Russian.
What is available today?
The website provides product specifications, architecture, interface illustrations and validation scenarios. Commands, APIs and package names are target contracts. Implementation readiness requires published code and testing; the illustrations are not real-flight evidence.
